The first ever very successful online (zoom-enabled) international conference of Christ Hospital Ministry themed ‘Care and Compassion’ was held on the 5th of September 2020.

It also marked the 20th anniversary of Christ Hospital Ministry as a non-denominational Christian charity organisation. It was a glorious occasion that brought our volunteers from various parts of the world together for a momentous and joyous occasion. Because of the social distancing rule due to the coronavirus pandemic, it meant a face to face conference could not be held, therefore an online convening was organised instead. Thanks be to God Almighty for technology and the wisdom given to men

Again it is to the glory of God and the dedication of the CHM UK management committee that the conference went very smoothly. Not to forget of course the organisational skills of our inimitable publicity secretary, Elder Lawrence Fawehinmi who doubled as the conference manager and chief host of the occasion. His wife, Mrs Titi Fawehinmi, a widely experienced food technologist, was the special health seminar speaker of the day and her talk on ‘Healthy eating post COVID-19’ was very concise, incisive and informative. Yes, together they are our own ‘double act.’
