Our colleagues in Ghana held their 15th year anniversary celebration and annual conference on Saturday the 26th of October 2019.

The event was held at the  Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) conference hall, Accra. It was a glorious occasion attended by many dignitaries from within and outside Ghana. This year CHM had the special privilege of having the Vice Dean of the University of Ghana School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr Francis Kwamin deliver a public health lecture on heart attack and stroke. 

It was a very informative lecture on these conditions which are important causes of morbidity and mortality in the developed and developing countries. The lecture ended with a question and answer session moderated by Dr Kwamin and Dr Afua Abrahams, Consultant and Head of Department of Pathology at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. Notable among the dignitaries at this year?s conference were Revd Sam Ajibola, President CHM International and Apostle Abraham Sackey, Senior Pastor and Leader, All Nations Centre, Vauxhall, London who is a long term supporter of CHM UK.
