Spotlight – Shola Adebayo

My name is Shola Adebayo, a minister of the gospel with a passion for mission, having a divine focus for Hospital ministry, reaching out to those who are physically ill and emotionally and spiritually disturbed.

I currently minister as a CHM Nigeria delegate praying for a patient Pastor Shola Adebayo in Evergreen Christian Church of God, Lagos, Nigeria and I serve as a volunteer and National Prayer Coordinator for Christ Hospital Ministry, Nigeria a position I have been privileged to occupy since 2015.

Spotlight As my title states, I coordinate all prayer activities for CHM Nigeria and this include the monthly, quarterly and six-monthly prayer conferences. I also coordinate prayer seminars, outreach programs as well as home and hospital visits and any other prayer and fasting activities among our volunteers.

As part of my role, I coordinate the activities of our prayer squad otherwise referred to as the prayer warriors and assist in the organisation of the annual conference of CHM Nigeria. In my secular role, I serve as an associate partner of Life-Changing Group and Health First Organisation, a wellness consulting outfit that specialises in holistic health management and promotion of healthy living at a personal and corporate level.

We also organise health-related seminars in partnership with qualified medical practitioners. Because of my Christian faith, I use the opportunity afforded me by this platform to emphasise key spiritual truths about faith and how it can be applied to healing. I am a recipient of several awards of various voluntary work I offer. These include the following: – Christ Hospital Ministry (CHM) award for the recognition of outstanding selfless service and contribution to the growth of CHM in Nigeria. – Life-changing Group and Health First organisation award of excellence for outstanding performance and unwavering dedication. – Director/Principal special award in recognition of exemplary voluntary contribution to the Federal Science and Technical College, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.

I am happily married with three children and I seize this opportunity to thank the following persons who provide spiritual support for me – Revd Sam Ajibola, President CHM International, Pastor Bayo Akinjiyan, Vice-chairman CHM Nigeria who also introduced me to this ministry and my spiritual parents, Overseer Akinola and Mrs Joyce Akinola, Chairperson CHM Nigeria. May The Lord bless them all abundantly.
